5. Jamie Whincup (Virgin Australia Supercars)
I'm relatively new to Supercars, having only started to watch every round from this season, having only previously caught highlights here and there. However, this man has already made enough of an impression on me he makes the list.
Jamie Whincup has the advantage of being a Red Bull driver, meaning I'm already on his side. Whincup, alongside Triple Eight teammates Shane van Gisbergen & Craig Lowndes, is part of one of the most formidable driver lineups in the sport and is one of the modern greats.
Winning seven championships between 2008 and 2017, five of which he has won in a Triple Eight Holden, Whincup is still only 35 and has a number of years left at the front of the field.
