Unpopular Opinions: F1 Edition

The 'unpopular opinion' threads were doing the rounds on Twitter a month or two ago now, but I thought I'd share some of my F1 based unpopular opinion here.
The Halo Isn't Actually Bad:
I expressed doubts about the halo both in terms of the safety it would offer and about the way it looked. Well a scary F2 crash as Spain put me right on the first concern while the look has massively grown on me. It almost makes the car look more aggressive and to be honest I find it strange when watching F3 and F4 where the halo is not in use.
I prefer the V6 hybrid noise:
I like the deeper roar of the current generation V6 hybrids. While I still love the scream of the V10 and V8 engines of the 2000's, when I started watching F1, the newer, deeper noise of the engine is just somehow more enjoyable.
Sergey Sirotkin Isn't That Bad:
You don't finish third in two consecutive F2 seasons (or GP2 as it was at the time) unless there is at least some talent there. He's won races in which ever championship he has competed in and been given test driver roles at two F1 teams. Yes he's by no means a world beater, but I feel his doesn't have the car under him to show how good he truly is. Yes everyone wants Robert Kubica and yes Sirotkin bought his way in but with a better car, I think he'd be competitive.
Every Race Is Interesting In It's Own Way:
Personally, I never get bored during a grand prix. I support Red Bull, so I watch them closely, and you always have the doubts of whether there car will make it to the end, or you sit thinking can they catch the car in front or defend from the one behind, is someone going to drop out in front to give them another place or are they in a pit stop window should there be a safety car.
So when watching one team closely I feel I'm entertained throughout every grand prix due to my targeted interest in one team rather then the overall action in the race. Of course a race can be more exciting then another but I don't think there is ever a boring one.
*I may well just add to this as things pop into my head.
